You will need:
3 cups water
2-3 inches of fresh ginger root, sliced
4-5 scallions, white part only
peel of 2 tangerines
Place all of the above ingredients into a pot of 3 cups water.
Bring it to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for no more than 3-4 minutes.
Strain the ingredients and drink hot.
(if you want to sweeten tea, use brown sugar or honey)
